On November 23, 2024 at a Women of Courage conference in Australia, five women from New Zealand attending the conference were commissioned to host a Women of Courage event in Auckland on 8 March 2025. 

​These five commissioned women faithfully responded to the call and launched the ​Women of Courage NZ event - Pursuing God's Promises.
